Barbara Walters Interviews Rush Limbaugh (VIDEO)
Tonight, Barbara Walters interviewed Rush Limbaugh as part of her “10 Most Fascinating People” special.
She harps on Rush’s new contract, and asks him if he is worth his $40+ million contract and $100 million bonus, to which he gives a resounding “of course!” This question was posted in the context of the current recession, inquiring if Rush is “recession proof.” Barbara gets a little testy, too, when he unabashedly declares his absolute love of Sarah Palin, to which Barbara remarks that she “didn’t seem informed.” He asked how so… from one interview? I truly think he befuddled her with his upbeat, unflappable attitude…and it looked like she wasn’t too keen about it, seeing as how she started out the intro to his segment as a someone who came out on the “losing side of this election.”
Is it just me, or does it appear to be a ‘coincidence’ there’s a mirror moving around in the background behind him where, on distance shots, you can see the back of Rush’s head and his bald spot? Hmmm.. something to wonder about. And Barbara… I have to correct you on one thing. You said Rush was the “most powerful and successful conservative radio talk show host in the country;” hell, Barbara, he’s the most powerful and successful talk show host PERIOD! Nobody on the left even comes close to him. Always gotta get those digs in there, too, don’t you? Lastly, she does go, as do all good little liberal journalists, into his past drug addiction. Very predictable and tedious.
As an aside, you must all have known beforehand that her “secret” #1 most fascinating person of 2008 was none other than the Chosen One, Barack Obama. Seems she didn’t feel so compelled to say one thing about his admitted past cocaine and marijuana abuse now, did she?
I’m certain it was just an oversight. /sarc

Whoopi Compares Sarah’s Accent to Ebonics (VIDEO)
Today on The View, conservative actress, Patricia Heaton was on, and Joy Behar asked her how she thought the press treated Sarah Palin, to which Patricia responded “horribly.” Then Behar counters with “she didn’t deserve it?” Patricia rightly says that she was mocked for the way she spoke. She was very chagrined that the Democrats in this country were supposed to be the party for the working class More.. person, but then when a “working-class person rears their ugly head and talks differently, and they make fun of them and say ‘what a hick, what a ruse.’”
Then Whoopi responds with “when black folks did it they called it ebonics!”
Excuse me? I guess I must speak ebonics, too, because I’m a plain-spoken person just like Sarah.

Glenn Beck on O’Reilly About Sarah & Other Issues (VIDEO)
Last night Bill O’Reilly had brand-new Fox show host, Glenn Beck on. Beck has left CNN Headline News and will have his own show on Fox at 5PM EST daily in January, but in the meantime, he will be on O’Reilly’s show on Fridays until then.
Last night they hashed out issues about Sarah Palin, the bailouts, and a lot of other things. It was an interesting Bill O segment. I’m glad to see Beck come to the Fox Family - this is really where he belongs.

Joe the Plumber & Tito the Builder on Huckabee (VIDEO)
Tonight on Huckabee’s show, Joe the Plumber (Joe Wurzelbacher) and Tito the Builder met up in person. They both talked about the 2008 campaign, their views on the American dream, and how they think conservatives (including Sarah) are getting the shaft.
I’m telling you folks, we are seeing the future of the Conservative movement. It may not be specifically these two guys (although I definitely think Joe Wurzelbacher will be a future political force to be reckoned with) who transform our party, but they will be very instrumental in motivating the base to get out there and re-group.
At this moment, our party is lost in the wilderness. It’s going to take some down-to-earth people to bring it back together so we can regain power and restore this shining city on a hill to her original beauty and esteem. America is not lost; we just need the right folks to lead us back to her glory. There is hope after all - we just need to recognize it when we see it and take control.

Sarah Strikes Back! (VIDEO)
Today on Fox News, Sarah’s striking back against allegations of her wardrobe spending, whether or not she knew what countries were in NAFTA, her attitudes as a “diva,” and whether or not she thought Africa was a country or continent.
My message to all you idiots out there who are spewing this or believing this crap? F-YOU! Even if any of this WAS true, who gives a damn?
My exit question is this: Now that the election is over, why is there so much interest in trying to destroy her? This is a rhetorical question, and if you think it’s legitimate, then you need to check yourself. We know more about Sarah Palin and Joe the Plumber than we do Barack Hussein Obama.
Sarah righly call these “unnamed sources” cowards and jerks. You go, girl.
